(Sold!) Blue Mermaid's MVD Latex Tail For Sale

I'm selling my beautiful blue latex tail. I'm asking $1200 or best offer.

The tail is real, pure latex, not anything like a mertailor "latex". It has an awesome bubble texture. It has a zipper hidden in one of the side fins. The back of the tail has visible seams, but these are not noticeable in the water, and your sitting on them on land so they are not seen. There is some paint off, and some dirty spots. There is a "foot pocket" area that you put about half of your foot into. There is no strap, but you get used to it. I am including the artists portfolio bag that I use to transport it.


I still love this tail, but now that I have my silicone tail, this ones a little lonely, so I'm hoping to give it a new home where it can be used and not sitting in a closet. The tail was made to my measurements. If your smaller, you should be fine. If your bigger, it will stretch a little but not much. I wear a size 7 shoe, it would probably fit up to a 9. These are my measurements, and it fits me like a glove! I am 5,4" and it comes to my belly button.

-Waist - above the hips all the way around just along the belly button 29"
-Hips - the fullest part of hips all the way around 34"
-Knees - around both knees while they are together 19"
-Ankles - feet together around both ankles together 13"
-Waist to Floor - belly button down to the floor 40"

I admit I have been drooling over your tail ever since you got it!! It's in my price range, but it looks like the hip and knee measurements are off by about 5-6 inches :( Latex from what I understand only has a 2-3 inch stretch at most. SO sad right now. D@%# my big butt!!

Latex has very little stretch, I spent close to 40 minutes trying to squeeze into the tail, however my calfs were just a touch to muscled (stupid rock climbing) and it would not stretch at all. So I never got it on :(

Should be noted the pictures do not do the tail justice, or it's colors. It's shinny and beautiful like an aquatic sunrise.

Yeah Sirena was determined to get that tail on!! haha! Prime example how it doesn't stretch much. What do your calves measure Sirena?

Haha, thanks. Good to know I don't look as big as I feel sometimes! I've gained my weight pretty slowly over the years (fighting inactivity from narcolepsy) so for the most part I've stayed proportionate. I guess it gives that illusion or something because people tell me the same thing :P

Either way, I hope it finds a good home. I've always loved that tail! It was one of the first ones of it's kind around, and it's still one of the most beautiful! It helps to be on a sweet beautiful mermaid though :)

At their widest point they are about 14.5 inches if I can measure at all. Hopefully someone with the same measurements will buy it soon as it really is the most beautiful thing.

I always loved that tail, but alas, in order to fit into it, I'd have to lose at least two inches of height, 11 inches in the waist, 14 inches in the hips, 8 inches around my knees, and 2 inches around my ankles! There's no way I could afford it anyway! ;)
