Opal Silicon individual scale tail

So I am not starting this tail for a long time but I am creating this thread as a log for all of my ideas and to brainstorm. So I recently have been reading a lot of individual scale tail making threads and I am very inspired. Specifically Merwandering's tail and tail. I liked the large scales and the dark yet still colorful scales. I want to create a tail inspired by that and opals. Opals are my birthstone and my favorite stone. I like having tails that are mainly one color scheme with random intermixed really bright sparkly scales (often gold ones). I want to make sparkly Opal scales to spread throughout the tail. However there are many different types of opals and they're coloring is so sparkling and layered I don't know if it will be possible to achieve with silicone. Ahhhh I'm so in love with opals! I don't think I've seen many opal inspires silicone tails though just because they're so tricky to pull off with all of the colors. I can't wait to see how this progresses! :D

Mother of Pearl scales are one if my signature bits, and my lips are sealed. I will tell you that it takes about two hours and more than ten processes (spelling?) per small batch, not counting curing times.
