Was just curious if any mers out there also have mermaid themed tattoos? I couldn't find a thread related to this. So here is mine! I love this piece of art by David Bollt before I finally saved up enough money to get it done (about 4 years ago now). The tattoo artist did change the colour scheme, and I absolutely love my cosmic mermaid, done by Nat at Infinity Ink, Moncton NB. 37796

No tattoos yet....But IF I ever got one (not sure I ever will....I'm such a wimp and I hate needles) I would love to get abstract watercolor scales

I actually hate needles too!! But I now have 11 piercings and 3 tattoos, which the tattooing bothers me the least. I just really hate being "injected" with doctor needles, even though some of them are important to get. I love your idea of getting scales that would be so beautiful! And you could start with just a few and then slowly add on to them!! Also super cool you are from Ohio! My BF's grandparents live in Massillon!

Oh my, I would love to see this as a sleeve on someone. My sister and are planning our tattoos together again. I already have a burton inspired heart on my hip.

I was thinking maybe I might put in a type of "skin ripped open to reveal scales", type tattoo. Not sure where, maybe my thigh, so when I'm in my tail, no one would see it, but I would be able to ROCK shorts. lol :P

Hi all! I'm going to get my first tattoo soon, I'm very worried about the pain, does the anesthetic cream dull the pain a lot? What do you think about it?

Hello! If you want to get a tattoo but are worried about pain and want to give up on the idea, Numbing cream australia (https://tattoonumbing.com.au/news/) might be the solution you need. Not all products are the same, so it is important to use only a proven product that significantly reduces pain during a session. Personally, I use only this cream, all the others that I tried did not help me much.
