Hi! I was wondering if anyone had experience putting an adjustable belt inside their tail- I found this (http://mernetwork.com/index/showthread.php?443-Hannah-Fraser-s-Tails) thread about Hannah Fraser's tails, but I didn't totally understand what belts she used.

My original plan was to just attach some belt loops to the inside of my tail and pull elastic string through it, but Hannah's belt seems much sturdier.

If anyone's comfortable sharing, what methods/materials did you use to create your belt?

When I had a neoprene tail, I had issues with back gaping. What I did was stitch a thick band of elastic to the inside of the tail. Elastic is pretty cheap by the yard at Joanns. I used maybe 20in. It worked really well

I created a system with buttons and some elastic on the back, like this:http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160717/a8397a1e740f3de3c7ee37e542e48ae3.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160717/bc10be56423e50aa2a40210ba5ea91f9.jpg this allows me to make the tail snug, or loose because there are holes in the elastic

Hannah's tails use belts made out of strapping and clips. You can buy both at joanns usually in the aisle that sells elastic and velcro.

I'm wondering: are Hannah's belts actually sewed TO the top of the tail, or are they through loops or a channel so that they can be adjusted? From pics, it looked like it might be the former but I can't see it properly.

Back when I had my Fish Butt, I had to sew a channel and string a rope through to adjust it because neoprin sucks.
