In my defense I was still in the process of moving when you posted this! But did you end up cutting into the power mesh??

She wishes she would grow, lol. When we were working on the tails in the beginning, We'd had her form on the table a while, figuring things out and playing with scale pinning for a few days, then one day we switched it with my mine. When my husband came home, he was like- what happened? It looks SO MUCH BIGGER. It's HUGE. what did you do???
And I was like-
THAT IS YOUR WIFE>:(

Lol WHOOPS. My husband's finally gotten to the point where he no longer tried to "fix" my thigh/butt complaints by suggesting I work out. Instead he just says "but you're so pretty!" And "I love you!"

No girl, be married a little longer. Once he realized it he was like- well, now that I look at it, its pretty hot
lolll
And- your thighs- are perfect! I do women's portrait photography and it's crazy how women never realize how great they look.

In fact, I'm usually better about catching myself before I say stuff about my body- definitely because I have a teenage daughter, but also just in general. We are so programmed to be self critical, and we need to stop! It's all in our heads and we are just being crazy, lol

I agree - and I'm normally really okay with my body. I'm really not overweight. I'm just bigger than I've ever been in the past. I was pretty thin all through college and suddenly gained like 20 lbs right after. So. That was a hit to the clothing budget. But I still rocked my wedding dress and hubby's jaw still dropped on the wedding night (I waited for marriage so it was a big deal for me), so I'm pretty okay. ;) I try to be careful about what I say, too - my students are always listening, and apparently their previous Latin teacher was a misogynistic *insert crude word here* who told two of the girls they could only be trophy wives, and told one she was too big to be a trophy wife so she was screwed. We have a huge responsibility to be positive role models - often when we don't even know it. It takes serious training to watch everything you say. I'm sure as a mother you know exactly how that is. And you're probably way better at it than me.
