Hello from CT

Hi everyone!
I've been reading this forum for about a year now, but never made an account. I figured it was long overdue! This has been such a great resource so far and I've been inspired by so many people on this forum!
I currently have two fabric tails, and I'll be getting my first silicone tail from FinFolk towards the end of next summer. I've never had the opportunity to swim with another mer, so I'm pretty excited to join our local pod and hopefully make some new friends on here.

Thank you! I'm in central CT, near Hartford. If anyone can point me in the direction of their favorite tail-friendly swimming spots, I'd be grateful! I'm lucky enough to have access to several private pools, but they are all very shallow. I've made it work with fabric tails but I worry that a large FinFolk fluke will be more difficult to manage. It looks like the New England Pod is pretty active and plans a few meet ups - I'll pop over there and say hi!
