Another work in progress for now. So I'm currently making a shell clip to kind of go with my future silicone tail once I finally get it ordered and I'm going for something on the line of a pastelly color scheme. This is what I have so far.

So I'm planning on putting this in the back of the wig and then adorning it with iridescent curled ribbons and sequins so it matches with the consistency of the hair once it's finally styled. I can't wait to get this finished. :)

This looks so pretty! What color wig is it going in? I have been wanting to order some shells to do hair pieces with myself. Is it sealed? You may need to put a resin coat over it to keep the paint from fading.

It's going to be a reddish brown, more on the line of an auburn really. :) I haven't sealed it yet but I will once it's all done.

Thank you so much :D I'm so excited to finish this. Now trying to find some iridescent ribbons to match will be the tricky part

Sorry for my absense, progress has been a bit slow since money's been a bit tight, because I'm also working on my Halloween costume as well as this costume as well. But The shell headpiece for the majority is done but I have to add the fastner to the back
of the piece and a comb that'll grip onto my wig :)

Instead of ribbons on the back I added a string of pearls to the back of hair in a draping pattern so it won't distract once the pearls go on the wig itself
