I am designing a monofin that can reduce the appearance of heels and I need suppulies. I already know I need plastic. I thought about using plexiglass, but I was afraid it would break inside a silicone tail.

My questions for you guys are:
-what type of plastic should I use?
-what would I need to cut it?
-should I screw/bolt the flippers into the plastic?
-finally, should I use a different material?

Thanks in advance to anyone who helps!

Use polycarbonate or polypropylene. Plexiglass tends to shatter, so stay away from it.

Polyprop will require fasteners. Fasteners work with polycarb as well, but many people use glue as that plastic sticks to glue to some extent.
Polypropylene is half the cost, lighter, more flexable, and tougher than polycarbonate. But you can get polycarbonate at many local hardware stores.

For fasteners, I like to use these T-nuts:

Cut with a saw. A jigsaw works fine. If you are on a tight budget, a small hand saw or coping saw will get the job done, slowly.
