Squishy starfish earrings!

Hey guys so just finished some squishy starfish earrings. They were inspired by Aquamarine and after a long internet search with earrings turning up with an gummy feel, I decided to make my own.

I found some Spikeez silicon uses to make jewelry at Michael's on sale.

Then I got some earring post and backs in the jewelry section.

Finally I printed out a template, greased a piece of acetate (the clear projector paper) with vaseline, and started working.

I ended up with a little rough design (mostly because that packaging lied about the colors), but I still love them.

If you want to make them…

·Materials:
-Spikeez Silicone
-Flat Post Earings
-Earing Backs (whatever kind you like)
-Vaseline
-Acetate or wax paper should work
-Printed Template
-Toothpicks

*Make sure you put Vaseline on any surface you don't want the silicone to stick to*

Most importantly be creative!
