Hello,

I Want to make my own silicone mermaid tail, but i was wondering whats the best monofin for a silicone mermaid tail.

and i want to add some fins to it, but what is the easierst way ( sorry for the bad English its not a language i speak/write a lot. )

i hope someone can help me

I don't have a silicone tail, but I can tell you that the best monofin depends on what you want to do with it. If you want to swim in strong ocean currents, or you want to be really fast, get a larger, stiffer one, like the Competitor. But, if you only want to swim in pools or you want to look really flowy, you can get something like a Foil or an Oceanika

thanks for the reactions, but i have an other question. how does 2 mm foam works for a scale sheet is it to thin

For silicone large fiberglass fins are the way to go IMO. Some people may want a smaller fin and others may not want fiberglass, it's really a personal opinion on what you want from the tail.

I have a Triton in both my fabric and silicon tail and I really love how it swims :)
