I left my tail in the car, in the Texas summer heat (I know, I know...)
And I guess the fluke wasn't flat because it was enough to BEND THE LEXAN?????
It isn't horrible but it isn't good- one side is fine but one side bends upward, and I'm also concerned that it is putting pressure on the silicone in a way that it could kind of start to slice through?
I get pretty creative with ways to ruin things
it's a superpower:(
(I am also a serial cell phone killer. I have accidentally baked one in the oven, run over one with my car, and of course the usual dropping, smashing, water...)
I have a heat gun, a blow dryer, more Texas sun which is obviously and unfortunately effective... any advice? Dont want to ruin it further

My monofin did that too, from being in my closet in the hot AZ heat (and I didn't store it flat, instead I stored it standing up right) What I did was lay it down on my closet floor the opposite way the bend was going and put some heavy books on it, the heat did all the work but didn't damage it since it wasn't sitting in direct sunlight or heat.

Yes I totally agree with mermaid Momo it's the best solution.
At least it didn't break otherwise you would have to cut the fluke and replace the broken piece and it's a mad operation to do 😱

Any day I've had time has been rainy, so it isn't fixed yet, but I feel better hearing that yours worked Momo. I was initially thinking I shouldn't do it that way out of fear that it would end up warped in another spot, and that I would have more control with a heat tool, but I suppose I'd run the same risk there too, and worse.
im a little disappointed, because I had planned to hang them on the wall for storage, in a room I added lots of fun ocean things to- a room with eleven windows:( so now I'm thinking it wouldn't survive- ugh!!!
but I'm sure it will be fixed- I swam again with it bent and it's ok but I shouldn't have- I'm gonna damage this fluke!!!!
Just couldn't resist-
addicted.
