(I swear I saw a thread about this already, but I had no luck finding it, so if you know where it is, please link it!)

I'm looking for ways and inspiration to decorate a small pool to be fit for a mer. I'm sad that I know I saw a thread about this already, but can't find it for the life of me! It's probably just going to be for personal use, not for parties, but I'd still rather it look less like a kiddie pool and more like a little mermaid oasis :D

Maybe you could get some fake floating water lilies? You could also have some giant iris or ornamental grass in pots around the outside edges of the kitty pool to give it a hidden oasis feeling. Maybe even a few rocks around the edges of the pool too to disguise the edge.

Another idea is to look up small duck pond designs. I know this sounds silly, but a lot of duck owners go all out making their little plastic duck pond look really natural and beautiful. By the way, take a look at this amazing container:

Evidently that metal thing is a sheep trough from a farm store.

Wow and you know what I just found out that stock tank pools are a thing: https://www.pinterest.com/explore/stock-tank-pool/
