Oni Con 2016 Mer Meet? (Galveston, Tx)

I'm attending a anime convention in Galveston this October and figured there might a few mers in the area I could meet up with.

I hope to have my tail done by then, but if not, I'll still have my finis fin to swim in.

I really wanna try a Galveston swim, but I worry we won't be able to see much in our not so clear ocean. >.>

Oh wow, I had no idea vision was that poor. Well, at least the San Luis Resort is pretty cool about tails in the pool last year. I hope its still okay this year.

I haven't tried to swim underwater there myself, last time I went to Galveston was way before I was mermaiding. I couldn't see my legs in the water with how murky it was but I have read there are other beaches that aren't so cloudy.
