Anyone buy a tail from TF Artistry?

Hey mers!
I was wondering if anyone here has purchased a tail from Tracy Falukozi? I'm considering her for my first tail as I would love to support a tailmaker in my country, as well as save some money as the Canadian dollar is so low compared to the USD where most tailmakers sell from.
That being said, I would still rather pay more for a tail from the US if it would be a better quality.
Tracy's tails seem to be pretty from the photos I have seen but I have been unable to find any reviews. If anyone here has one of her tails I would love to know what you think of it!

If you dont mind the fact that she photoshops her tails to look brighter and more colorful then they actually are, they arent bad. She has said before that she tries to build them in three days. I dont feel its enough time and they are a bit rushed. Tracy is a nice person but she needs to spend more time working with the materials to be charging what she does for them. The flukes are crooked scale wise so they can look pretty lopsideded.

Ive seen her personal tail in person. It was in rough shape with paint peeling everywhere and it was less than six months old.

Being a customer of hers I would say don't waste your money, her customer service has been horrible during the time of my tail and the tail is not what I asked and she said she couldn't even fix it. Since it's not what I wanted I only asked her for a bit of money back and she refuses to give me anything back and now I am going to have to contact my bank and a lawyer since PayPal wont help me.

First of all, isn't Jamie a direct competitor to TF? I wouldn't really take that word for it. And from the looks of the other thread Arie has a whole thing to sort out. Traci is a professionally recognized spfx and makeup artist who works in the film industry.

I met Traci at mermania and was floored by her tails. So much so that I agreed to beta test a new version she is working on with my company. Her photos are not photoshopped, those tails really stand out. You can see her tail in all the media coverage for Mermania.

I did NOT see ANY peeling paint and I can tell you there's at least 400 people who can vouche for that and how bright and beautiful her tails were. Everyone was stopping to admire.

Okay a little bit of a post here so bear with me. I started a transaction with her last year for a custom made tail. The whole time she was making my tail she didn't communicate or check with me on the design and colors. My friend drew me a picture of my tail design and I sent it to her, she said it wouldn't be a problem and of course I agreed to the extra cost of the custom scales and fluke design. She showed me a couple of pictures of her making it and the design and even during that process I asked her to fix things because they were wrong. She told me she would fix it and didn't update me on pictures until the painting process. She made the tail hot pink which it was supposed to be deep purple and the green was off too. She told me she would fix those colors, she just painted over them with a light purple and the hot pink still bleeds through the purple and the green was still wrong. I also asked her to fix up the fluke because I don't know why she just goes off a design picture but she had white lines that aren't supposed to be there and she said she couldn't fix the fluke colors at all cause the "colors would run together". She finished the tail and showed me pictures, STILL WRONG. She refused to fix it. It's messed up, not even and floppy looking. She used my tail in a photo shoot and one of the pictures was her SITTING ON TOP of my tail that was just flopped on the ground with other tails.

Merdragon do you have any photos? I would post them (following the new rules of posting photos to save space ) on your other thread (just to keep everything in one place).

I'm mostly curious about photos of the design vs. Final tail and screenshots of convo where you asked to have what you said was wrong changed and where those changes where done incorrectly or not done at all. To fully understand the situation we need a bit more to go off of.
