Sharpie? I used to draw on old jeans. It seemed to hold up well enough, and touchups aren't a big deal. Might be a good idea to hand wash from here on out just in case though.

I tried Sharpies but they did fade so I used Tulip fabric markers,,worked a lot better, did 4 washings and held up better than Sharpie and one washing..
