Modifying a Finfun?

I was wondering if any one had some tip or tricks to add something frilly or flowy to my fin fun tail?

I added flowy bits to my finfun tail by just sewing organza directly onto the tailskin :)

I made some patterns with normal paper, pinned a piece of organza to it, cut it to shape, then carefully melted the edges over a flame (I used a stable candle) and sewed them on where I wanted them:dance:
