I'm gonna be going out to a pond this week with my friend, and i was thinking i would bring my tail. But last year i remember that it looked kind of like they had put some sort of coloring or some chemical that made the water look greeny-blue. I was wondering if this would stain my tail or something? Should i just bring the monofin? Idk... This might be my last chance to swim until the mermaid convention, so:cry:

I think its unlikely, as it would also stain bathing suits, hair, and skin. There would be many complaints. If no one is complaining about their bathing suits, your tail will most likely be OK.

My friends pond was very blue, I was in for hours with no issues.

Oh man...as a Floridian, I still cannot get over the fact that there are ponds and lakes out there that are safe to swim in, haha. I know it, I believe it, but it's been so deeply ingrained in me to be freaked out about amoeba and gators. :P
