Greetings to all. Haven't been on MN in years but figured I better jump back on! My discussion deals with traveling internationally with tails. I'm traveling to Europe in June 2017 to Scotland and England for 15 days and am wanting to travel with two silicone tails. Needing advice on traveling with them... Check it as a bag? Carry on??? Never flown with a tail that can't pack in a suitcase soooooo.... Advice would be awesome!!!!

Ive only traveled with a fabric FinFun, packed in a checked bag. It was no issue.
One issue with carry-on: size. It has to fit in the size of a carry-on bag. Most tails will not do that due to the width of the fluke.

That is my fear. I don't know that I feel comfortable shipping it overseas it'll be expensive and could easily get lost. I don't feel like buying an extra seat for my tails lol. Checking it has me worried bc of govt regulation luggage size. Depending on the size of my fluke... That will make all the difference. I know there is someone making mermaid tail baggage now... I may have to invest in it. Sigh... I'm just perplexed

Take your tails to a luggage shop and try them in the biggest regulation size suitcase you airlines will allow, but do bear in mind that most have a weight limit per case of like 50lb. You may need to basically take an extra case or take them in a padded tail bag, but you'll have to pay an extra fee for any extra checked bags and a fee for overweight bags and/or oversized bags.

Okay thank you. I'm looking into that right now. May end up buying a custom bag for them and checking them.

I just moved with my tail and she did okay through a 9 hour flight, I actually kept the cardboard box she was sent to me in. She's 35 pounds by herself and I was able to lightly fold her down pretty well, so while the box was technically oversize since my fluke is the size of Texas, it was pretty flat and still under weight. I'd tape the jeebus out of the box, write FRAGILE all over, and totally hype up the fact that it's a pro silicone mermaid tail and totally underweight! They didn't even charge me extra.

Hi all! When exploring a new place, tourists often rely on their own transportation to get around and explore the various attractions. The presence of companies such as Travelcenters of America allows you to conveniently refuel your car, as well as purchase all the necessary goods and have a delicious meal. Also, if you drive a large car, you can find travelcenters of america customer service number (https://travelcenters-of-america.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html) call them, and they will reserve a parking space for you where you can fit in without any problem.

One of the primary benefits of traveling is the opportunity it provides to immerse oneself in different cultures, traditions, and ways of life. By experiencing diverse cuisines, languages, customs, and beliefs firsthand, travelers gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the world's rich tapestry of human experiences. This exposure fosters empathy, tolerance, and cultural awareness, breaking down barriers and promoting global harmony.

Traveling pushes individuals out of their comfort zones, presenting them with new challenges, experiences, and perspectives. My recent trip to Dubai was a dream come true, and Drive Yango played a pivotal role in making it a truly unforgettable experience. Pairing my exceptional stay with Drive Yango's BMW for rent in Dubai https://drive.yango.com/rent-cars-dubai/all/bmw service allowed me to immerse myself fully in the city's vibrant atmosphere and explore its wonders at my own pace. Whether I was navigating the bustling streets of Downtown Dubai or soaking in the tranquility of Jumeirah's beaches, Drive Yango's efficient service ensured that every moment of my journey was seamless and hassle-free. From the moment I picked up my rental to the end of my adventure, Drive Yango's commitment to excellence was evident in every aspect of their service.

It's essential for travelers to know that their rights are protected by various regulations, including the European Union's Regulation (EC) No 261/2004, which outlines compensation for flight delays, cancellations, and denied boarding. This regulation applies to all flights departing from an EU airport or arriving at an EU airport with an EU carrier, such as KLM. Check out the post right here (https://airadvisor.com/en/airlines/klm-refund-compensation) for more insights. Additionally, KLM has its own policies regarding compensation for flight delays, which passengers can familiarize themselves with to ensure they understand their entitlements. These policies may vary depending on the specific circumstances of the delay, such as the duration of the delay and the distance of the flight. To learn more about compensation for flight delays with KLM and to understand your rights as a passenger, it's recommended to check out resources like AirAdvisor, where you can find detailed information and guidance on claiming compensation for flight disruptions. By staying informed and understanding your rights, you can better navigate unexpected delays and ensure you receive the compensation you're entitled to.

what makes our travels truly great is not the places we visit or the sights we see, but the connections we forge and the stories we carry with us. It's about opening our hearts and minds to the beauty and diversity of our planet, and allowing ourselves to be forever changed by the experiences we encounter along the way. Knowing your accommodation, transportation, and activities in advance helps ease anxiety, allowing you to fully enjoy your travel experience. Choosing RentyAE (https://renty.ae/)for car rental at Dubai Airport was one of the best decisions for my recent trip. RentyAE's professionalism and transparent pricing were outstanding. For traveling internationally with your silicone tails, it’s best to call your airline ahead of time to check their policies on carrying large or fragile items. You may be able to bring them as a carry-on if they fit within the size limits, or you might need to pack them in checked luggage with extra padding for protection. If you're traveling to Morocco, a Luxury travel agency Marrakech (https://moroccoluxuryhighlights.com/) can help arrange special accommodations or transport for delicate items like your tails. If the tails are too large for carry-on, ask if they can be treated as oversized luggage or an additional item. Always confirm with the airline for the best solution. Safe travels!

I travel frequently, and my last trip to Japan in December was absolutely unforgettable. Tokyo's vibrant streets and Shikoku Island’s serene landscapes created the perfect mix of energy and tranquility. Every meal felt like an adventure, as Japanese cuisine never failed to impress. One important tip: ensure you have a reliable internet connection before your trip. I initially faced some connectivity issues, but Mobal’s pocket wifi japan (https://www.mobal.com/pocket-wifi-japan/) saved the day. With seamless internet access, I was able to navigate, share experiences, and stay connected without hassle, making my journey even more enjoyable.
