I started a new mermaid Facebook group...with a twist ;)!

Here's the group description:
Due to the rising popularity of mermaiding as a recreational water sport, much of the fandom of mermaids tends to focus on the physical aspects of pretending to be a mermaid or living a "mermaid" lifestyle: swimming, breath-holding, diving, etc., and while there is absolutely nothing wrong with that for people who enjoy that kind of thing, it can unfortunately make it difficult for people who love mermaids but cannot swim, whether due to personal choice or because of physical limitations to feel like they fit in with the mermaiding community. This group's mission is to instead focus on the more mental aspects of loving the fantasy of mermaids or living a "mermaid" lifestyle that require no physical athletic ability such as mermaid cosplay/photo shoots, just chilling in our tails, mermaid meditation, and more. Mermaid art and themed clothing and makeup are welcome to be shared as well, and discussions about mermaid movies, TV shows, and books are welcome as well. You do not have to own a tail to join and enjoy the group, though I would especially appreciate discussions about how to enjoy wearing costume tails in unconventional(i.e., non-swimming) ways.
RULES:
(1) You can join and enjoy the group even if I do enjoy swimming in your tail, but pleased keep in mind that athletic ability or progress is not the focus of this group.
(2) This is intended to be an all-inclusive "safe space", so ableism, racism, homophobia, acephobia, and the like will not be tolerated.
(3) Please keep language and topics PG. Tasteful nudity in mermaid art etc. shared is allowed, but anything overtly sexual may be deleted.
(4) Let's do our best to keep our politics out of our mermaiding! I may mention, for example, that I'm a vegetarian and prefer mermaid media that features merfolk who can speak to sea creatures instead of eating them, so ocean conservation topics are allowed for some extent, but I will try to keep that in check. I don't intend animal rights or any other political issue to be the main focus, and let's especially avoid talk of Trump, Hillary, and the gang.

Just sharin' in case anyone's interested, though I know it might not be everyone's cup of seaweed tea, and I'm not realistically expecting it to be a huge group...
