Skin Wars Mermaider

Has anyone been watching Skin Wars? It's a reality TV series in which body painters compete to avoid elimination and win prizes at the end.

So season 3 has been playing, and in episode 6 they painted their models as marine creatures (they also got to hop into wetsuits and swim with the sea life at the Aquarium of the Pacific to get inspiration, nice perk of being on the show!) They also had to waterproof their models' paint jobs so they could actually swim in a display tank. Interesting to see how one does that.

During that episode one of the contestants, Tiffany Beckler, revealed that she is a mer and swims with a local pod in her home town. She of course painted her model as a mermaid, and a rather cool one, IMO.

Yes, that is us! Mermaids of NC!! :) Tiffany is awesome and even used a photo of use swimming once in an episode. :)
