UK Mermaids?

Hello.
I am very new to all of this.
I am very inquisitive about the while mermaid thing and would love to get involved somehow.
I have been looking at monofins of different brands (just the part you put on your feet though). I wondered where people actually use these?
Do swimming baths usually let you use them or do they say fins etc are not allowed? I've never seen anyone use them in the local swimming baths.
Are there groups of people here in the UK that get together?
I do not live by the sea but would obviously take the fin when I go on holiday but I was just thinking of a more general weekly thing - where do people go to use them?

Any uk mermaid info would be greatly appreciated :)

Hi Abigail! While I'm not actually a UK Mer myself one way of meeting the Mers from your area would be to add yourself to your specific pod here on Mernetwork! That way you can find the people around your place, and talk to them easier! Good luck and welcome to MN :)
