I've been searching around and haven't found anything. I like the natural no bra thing for mermaids, but obviously I can't do that :)
So I thought why not having a bare back top, but how would I do that without using silicone? I could if I have to resort to it, but I am limited on money. If any of you amazing mers have any ideas that would be fabulous. Thank you! :)

You could use pasties and eyelash glue to secure them. Maybe using clear stretching beading elastic to add extra security.

There are stick on strapless/backless bras as well that some mermaids use. pasties work too, spirit gum is a magical thing.

Just a quick word from the experienced...

NEVER EVER EVER USE RUBBER CEMENT TO TRY AND STCIK SHELLS TO YOUR CHEST.

It took me three years for the burn scars to fade.

Wow, glad the scars faded though. The human body's ability to repair itself is pretty amazing.

You can also try taking those clear straps from the bra isle in a sewing store, and set them up to wrap over, and then back under the same arm. If that makes sense. It's an old non-stick backless bra trick I've learned. But you'll still have straps on your shoulders, so if that's also a problem, then it wouldn't work.

Spirit gum is .....meh....ok. But you really want something to stick and not move you need to order Prosaid. You'll have to get a bottle of remover with it because it's medical grade, but it's what we use in the SFX community.

I have stuck metal bolts and wire on people and some really heavy prosthetic pieces, and Prosaid holds it every single time.

*Disclamer* <--- haha pun I have not gotten in water after using it so not sure how it's going to stick if you submerge.

I found a top to use, I will be sewing clear elastic to it. The main problem was finding a big enough size for me. I had to settle with a DD (it's still a bit small ) I will be using some decor to cover some spots.
