How to prevent siliconing your tail to the body form?

So I am at the point in making my tail where I am pinning scales to my packing tape body double and I'm confused. I know you're supposed to silicone your scales to the power mesh but how do you stop the silicone from sticking to your body form? Won't it get permanently stuck?

No worries unless your bodyform is made out of silicone it will come off. You may feel a bit a resistance when taking it off but that is normal

Silicone shouldn't stick to tape as its not Porous, It should come straight off.
