Brisbane mermaid

Hi all, my name is Chi and I'm in Brisbane, the Oceania Pod. I'd love to meet some buddies! I travel a lot around Australia for work (like, nearly FIFO every 2 weeks, so I'd love some recommendations of places to take my monofin to!

I am 30 and my focus is to get fit and swim a lot. I've always loved the ocean. I am keen to take my monofin to Redcliffe or gentle waves to swim in. Any recommendations for Brisbane? Manly pool?? Southbank?

Aww :( You just missed the meet up last weekend. Merman Dan came up from Melbourne and we had a ton of fun. Southbank is usually a fun place to swim, during the week anyway it does get a bit crowded during the weekend but we've found people tend to give mermaids a fairly wide birth. I'm from just South of the border so I don't get up to Brisbane as much as I'd like. The pool at UQ is one I'd avoid though, very over chlorinated.
