Anyone have problems finding mono fins for large footed people? I have a foot that measures 30cm long and 13 cm wide at the ball of the foot. I bought a Nemo wing monofin two years ago, but it not close to being wide enough, even though it is about long enough. Any big footed people have a monofin they find can fit ok? Until I find a monofin that fits I can't buy a real tail.

I'd like some advice for this too, I want to get my one friend a monofin for her to try but the biggest hydra (the minos) that I have, isn't even close to fitting her

My foot is a USA women size 12 and narrow. Its 22cm long (9.25 inches) and 9cm (3.5in) wide at the ball. I have used 2 monofins successfully: the FinFun adult (there are no foot pockets), and the Finis Rapid (which is essential the wave made for men). I have to wear neoprene booties with the rapid for comfort and tighten the straps all the way down, but it fits my foot and stays on. My fiance who is a size 11 USA mens has also worn the rapid with the straps about medium tight so i would say it is THE FIN for people with big feet

I have yet to find any monofin with foot pockets that fits my feet. They only thing that have fit:

The FinFun monofin, as it really does not have foot pockets. Even so, my big feet tore the fabric cover over the neoprene when I squeezed them through the holes. This is a low cost option.

The Lunocet monofin. https://www.ultimateswimfin.com/

This one is virtually guaranteed to fit because you bolt cycling shoes to the fin. Thus, you can go to the sports store and try on shoes until you find one that fits. This is an expensive option, but you get a monofin that fits well, is comfortable for hours, and is very, very fast.

So I don't actually have big feet but try the Sunails monofin. It has a neoprene sleeve with netting on the bottom that sits on top of the fin itself. Its pretty open so you can slide your feet as far up as necessary. Its also a less floppy than the fin fun if you want a bit more propulsion

Or leader fin sports, I have it and it is tight around my ankles but I have a ton of spare left at the ball of my feet. They have a great customer service. So I would email then with your question to make sure that it would fit.
