Mermaid Celeste's Regal Tang Neoprene/Sequin Tail

After much saving and planning, I finally got around to it! I'm making my blue/gold Regal Tang inspired sequin tail!

So far, I have the tail mostly sewn (I still have to make the extra fins), and I am painting the whole thing guideline colors (for the sequins) and popping, glittery colors for the fluke. I will only be sequinning the body, not the fluke or fins.

Definitely following! I have blue/regal tang fish as a tail design idea in my sequin tail pattern book! I love watching the progress on sequin tails! I've yet to finish my sequin tail, I'm almost done with the sewing the zipper on the body, but still so much left to do, lol.

Just heat set the paint on the body, fluke, and fins. Still have yet to make the dorsal, but I have a little while before that's necessary.

I left the fluke with a painted finish. I personally don't like the look of sequined flukes.
