Hello, My name Jeanette I live in USA Northern California(Sorry don't want to say city I live in). I've always dreamed about being a mermaid since I was 3 years old. I have mother and grandmother who sew, and I've had a lot of mermaid costume for Halloween, when I was little. Still my favorite Disney movie is the little mermaid.

Skip a few years I'm 23 now, and I'd love to make my own silicone/latex mermaid tail. What made me want to make a silicone/latex mermaid tail were YouTube video of people swimming in these tail. I know then I have to make one. I'm still working on my fluck, for my tail(as you can see form my icon right now :p). I hope that being here I get great tip and meet great nice people will on my journey to becoming a mermaid. :)

Welcome to the forums MermaidJeanette. You're fluke sculpt looks cute. Have you picked out a color scheme yet or are you going to wait to see how the physical design developes before settling on colors/patterns?

oh my tail going to be a koi fish tail :) so orange/red, white, and black scales. The fluck and extra fins I plan to make will to white. Still thinking on top....I think fish netting and silicone lily pads to cover the boobies. With a white wig and I hope i can find i way to make false eyelashes say on well swimming to have white eyelashes.

That sounds beautiful. If you can't get falsies to stay put, perhaps a white mascara can be sealed to give you white lashes?
