I know there was a thread like this but I can't find it at the moment. Just a place to post all of the wonderful mermaid images found around the web.

The blue one is creepy, but I love her fingers! That would be a fun prosthetics project to do.

I love the mermaid illustrations that are sort of dark. Like, where the mermaid looks less human, hedging on grotesque. I find those the most beautiful and entrancing.

I sort of thought of that thread (http://mernetwork.com/index/showthread.php?1171-Art-%28paintings-drawings-sculpture-etc-%29) as a show what you have drawn yourself, which I think is a great idea. Lets people see what the community can do without wadding through tons of random art. I was thinking this could be for the random odds and ends ^_^

Aquatarian could you edit your post and include the links to where people can find these pieces? I know one of them is by someone on deviantart who has a great many mer images and I'm sure people would love to explore :)
