hey Im 22mermaidbethany22 and im from Austrailia

so i finally go the guts to post something:lol: because Im pretty shy heres a few things about me
-i got into mermaiding when i saw a video on a girl who was a professional mermaid and did it as a job and i instantly fell in love with mermaiding
- i am currently making a silicone tail which i might post about but Im not sure:lol: and i have used monofins and fabric tails before, they were good fun
-my other hobbies other than mermaiding are
reading, i like dark mythical books and Im am currently reading a book series Im in love with:D
acrobatics, until i ruined my foot now Im trying to get back into it because its an amazing sport
and Im not to bad on the sewing machine either

I think stumbling upon a mermaid video and instantly falling in love it sounds very familiar to many of us!

It's mermazing that you're making your own silicone tail. Is it difficult? How much do/will you spend on the material? What color will it be?

I'm curious, what book are you talking about? I also love reading.

well for starters silicone is soooo expensive were i live $510AUSD plus shipping so i will have to do lots of saving :lol:
my tail will be like a metallic plum color with black stripes and spots and im gonna put glow in the dark pigment in the black to give it a cool affect when swimming at night
and to book im reading ist the splintered novels by A.G. Howard, its pretty much a dark twisted version of alice in wonderland. its not for everyone but i just love the books so much

and Im kinda at the beginning although Im pretty much done my scale sheet i have some materials like plaster and clay for sculpting but thats about it:D
