I need more glitter!!!!

Ok so I have been taking forever on getting my silicone tail project started because I have 10,073 projects going on at once, but I have come to the point where I wanna get my colors figured out and I am having trouble.

I want my tail to be as glittery as possible. I have done tests of silicone with the pearl ex pigments, both mixing it with the silicone and brushing it on the mold before I pour the silicone, and while I am getting some beautiful effects, I can't make mine glittery like mermaid Kariel glitter status. Any ideas? I feel like I could use more pigment and it would make it somewhat glittery but I also thought that it could be possible to over pigment. Ahh! Help!

Kariel adds glitter into her tails, most likely some kind of automotive glitter mixed into the pigment that she sprays the tail with. For my tail I just mixed the glitter into the sealer coat (I didn't use the cast method though for my tail)

Oh thank you for the info! What type of glitter did you use? I want to make sure the glitter doesn't constantly come off, because glitter in a small tank while underwater will ruin your eyes!

I used extra fine iridescent glitter, because it's encased in the silicone it doesn't budge! But Pearlie has warned me that using the larger glitters will chance the glitter cutting through the silicone. I think I might have some videos of the sparkle, let me see.

Thank you! I will do some glitter tests. I definitely am at no shortage of glitter in my house haha :)
