Tips on making a fibreglass mould?

Hello lovelies! :) I'm continuing on with my silicone tail project (yes, it's coming along slowly) and I'm up to casting my scale sheet in fibreglass. I chose to start over because my old mould cracked. If anyone has any tips then that would be great! :)

Use heaps of release aid. I made mine of fiberglass and in the places I didn't use enough I have to scrub it out. The rest just peeled out.

I had issues with fiberglass for my scale mold, I found that it chipped if there were any sharp parts, like the triangle between the sides of circle scales, make sure you use lots of release, and mineral spirits help to clean the mold if anything does happen to get stuck!
