The majority of the wait is me waiting for your materials to arrive. Once I have materials they will be shipped within a week. Total wait is around 4-6 weeks

My "ad" for the upgrade in the silicone coating refers to making it appear to be scaled instead of just being a smooth coating. Also if you mention you saw the ad and tell me where you saw it the you get one free upgrade i.e. a set of fins or an upgraded fluke or something (if you want multiple add ons, the free one will be the cheapest)

I'm drawing up some concepts cause if all goes well I'll be commissioning a design from you cause I honestly don't thing I'll finish my tail before this summer but I want a tail cause I've been finless for 2 years now seance I moved from my home island.

Question would you consider making a new fluke shape for myself, you see for one the fluke shapes you have are probably too small for my taste I'd like a wide but short crencent style fluke, would you consider that?

I always try to make my customers happy, so yes I would be willing to work with you on fluke design. Depending on how much bigger it is than my normal upgrades it may come with a larger upgrade charge (it all depends on the amount of materials required ) I can get you in a tail within 6 weeks of placing your order

You can pretty much say that. The last couple batches of my photos on instagram are pretty much me swimming in her tail at the spring. www.instagram.com/critte2004/ I'm doing the whole Mer May for the month of photos. I'm going to have a name for myself. I'm doing the babies steps but I'll be branching out here soon. Just a couple unexpected finance issues got in the way but as long as my candle allergy doesn't stop me at my new job (I got medicine for it now); my last big obstacle will be past me. I shall get big using the tail from Mazu (I hope).

They are the same. I just go by the duct tape dummy now so it doesn't matter the gender. I just make it to the form. Design is a little different for making a more masculine tail.

Yes! Especially if the towels for me I don't like girly fluke shapes atleast not on Mermen cause girly flukes are cute but ughh plus everyone may not view the same fluke shape to be feminine or masculine but I be obsessing over the fluke shapes I think that's what makes every Mer unique combined with the color scheme and design. My link didn't take you there or you just couldn't find my tails? I don't have a spot available at the moment so it doesn't show tails in my shop right now. I will have a spot open in just a couple of weeks though. My tails start at $700 plus shipping with upgrade options of fins ($25 per set)dorsals ($50), upgraded flukes ($50), and xl fluke ($80). I use a finis wave or finis foil monofin standard with a rapid in the xl fluke. I can use any monofin you prefer however the more expensive fins will add to the cost. Colors and design are unlimited and I can make custom shaped flukes and fins. My tails have a neoprene scuba knit fabric base with tin cured silicone raised scales.

I'd have to see the flukes you offer, but looking through the thread i'd love some side and dorsal fins. Do you ever install zippers, could you along the bottom of the fin so I can move the mono fin and help it dry?

I can actually do any fluke shape and yes a zipper is possible. It's not something I do with tails because the monofins are attached in my tails but its completely doable

Question, Mazu.... When you make tops, how customizable are they in terms of design? I've been trying to find a top for my tail but modesty is not often taken into consideration.

Thank you yeka :) magi I make my tops on any base the customer wants from a full on push up to a modest sports bra and I often extend the bottoms as well

I'm trying to add some pictures of a new tail but it wont let me. It said it exceeded the size so I reduced the size then it says I exceed my quota by 63.63 no matter how small I reduce the image the message is the same? Any ideas

Any ideasI guess it has something to do with the galleries being switched off. Try hosting the pictures externally (Dropbox or so) and posting the link to the pic in the message. That seems to be a quite common workaround to that issue. ;)
