Adding things to tail..?

i have this tail from finfun

I have some light blue lace that would look Beautiful attached to the tail, my idea is to sew it to the top flap with some white thread, is this a good idea?

That sounds like it'd be gorgeous! If you're just thinking of things to add, Organza looks super-flowy underwater. You just have to sear the edges so it doesn't unravel on ya.

You could probably get away with adding an organza dorsal fin and even extend the fluke as well
