Hello there! i'm Siren Cedes! I've had a long interest (like since middle school) in anything that dealt with mythical creatures. Mainly Dragons and Mermaids. These became an interest to me because i loved the no matter where around the world you look you could find lore on both of these creatures. Even across several different centuries and thousands of mile apart. With Mers i really enjoy the diversity of the lore from playful sea beings to Dangerous monsters (i have a super soft spot for the Dark Mers in particular). The love for them intensified when i learned a few years back that there were companies that would make you a tail. I've been Hooked since ;). I love designing new tail with the available blanks that are provided by current tail makers. A dream of mine would be if i won the Lotto i would end up having like 20 different tails from all the Major tail makers on the market. Most of them based on different animals who's patterns or colors inspire me.
A Bit about my background, When i was about 3-4ish i taught myself how to swim and have been very active in the water since. I lived in Fl since i was 5 until recently when my husband (he's military) and i were re-stationed in St Louis. I dearly miss my warm oceans and my Gulf but have found a fellow Mer who lives right down the road from me here in St Louis. I was originally in school for a Marine Biology Degree but have had to switch Majors due to non of the MO schools having this particular major.
I love to draw and am learning to sew. With a goal to be able to create Cosplay costumes for people off of drawings that they would send me (plus measurements of course).
I look forward to meeting some of you and hopefully will see you guy at 2018's MerMainia!
