I'm not able to actually work on the tail till I move houses (spacial issues) although I do have some sketches. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170321/4c6e19a90fd6689fda35b4def1462c02.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170321/611fde613ec5e3b24af528e7aab4ea18.jpg
I feel like they're hard to follow but I was wondering if anyone would like to give me some advice or suggestions

I like the sketch, it's pretty and unique. Have you decided on what type of tail this is going to be (silicone, latex, neoprene, sequined, etc.)?

I'm going to do more research on what I'm going to make it out of, but I'm thinking silicone (and which one is more affordable I don't know) if I chose silicone I'm going to make the scales individually

Fabric/neoprene: Around 100 USD
Silicone is estimated to cost around 500-600 USD, but I'm not sure how much it costs to make a Latex.
I'm not sure how much it costs to make the sequined tail. It depends on the amount of sequins you will sew onto the fabric tail.
Monofins: FINIS is a good brand, most tailmakers make the silicone tails with the FINIS Foil (30-40 USD) or if you are making the fabric or sequined tail to use either the FINIS Wave or FINIS Rabid. Make sure it's in your footsize.
Hope this helps.
Thanks. I'm just going to have to save up a lot of money after I get my job.

Sadly won't be for quite awhile since I'm pretty much broke right now (except money I have saved for band camp) but I'll be starting my job most likely June 1st and I have no where to make it until I move [emoji53]

I very much feel your struggle on this. I'm still trying to replace one of my two jobs before they close just to have money to keep on swimming.

Jobs are hard to get I'm just glad I have connections with this one and possibly flexible hours
