Hey everyone,
I’m new to ShareGrid and just listed my camera gear for rent. While I'm excited to start earning some extra cash, I’m also a bit nervous about renting out my expensive equipment. I’d love to hear from experienced users—what steps do you take to ensure your gear is rented out safely? Are there any red flags to watch out for when dealing with renters? Also, how does the insurance work, and is it reliable? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Always vet renters by checking their reviews and ratings on ShareGrid. It's a good sign if they've had positive experiences with other users. Make sure to take detailed photos of your gear before renting it out and document its condition. As for insurance, ShareGrid (https://www.pissedconsumer.com/company/sharegrid/customer-service.html) offers coverage, which I’ve found to be reliable. However, it’s still a good idea to read through the terms carefully so you know exactly what’s covered.
