I've been gone a long time, so I thought I'd re-intro myself.

Also, yes, this is the original deepblue. There was a issue with my old account that I had here for years, but I've been in contact with Iona to resolve that, and she's going to merge this one with that.

For those who remember me...
We have a pool where we live, so I have been able to swim which has been great. It's small and not very deep, but it's a pool. We plan on moving back to the beach village I used to live in with in the next few months. I probably won't have a pool, but I'll have the ocean again. <3

My daughter's last hip surgery was about a year and two months ago, and she's super mobile and no longer needs a wheelchair, so though I am homeschooling her for a while longer, I have a lot more time for myself. I'm using it to make a tail, and have started on that. My main reason for wanting to return to the forum was to share pics of progress. And share the trouble, to help others avoid my mistakes. :D

I got married last May, which was awesome. We got married on a boat by the Captain, then our small party went on a harbor cruise on said boat, with a dj who played all our requests. Then my husband and I spent a few days at Disneyland and California Adventure. He's amazing and 100% supportive of my mermaidiness. My daughter prefers dinosaurs, but she does love to swim.

I look forward to seeing what the forum regulars have been up to, and seeing what is going on with all the new mers.

Happy spring!

Thanks! And oh, how cute are those. She has a dino onesie and makes herself a lot of tails from cardboard, so she'd love that. Thanks for linking it!

Welcome back! <3
