Anyone try this scale print?

I already bought it and am awaiting shipment, but I wanted to see if anyone has bought this design, or the other on their site. I debated a while cuz frankly it is ugly, but it should look awesome when the tail is complete.

I know aquatails had a tail made out of a very similar fabric (it was purple instead of green) and it did look quite nice as a whole tail. I debated buying it for awhile, but they sold out. I think it'll look really good! The colors are nice and bright

Here is the fabric for the curious. It is just folded over the fin so I could an idea for my new tail. The scales are HUUUUGE

Wow, if you could find a way to leave the sides of the mahina fin out that looks awesome! The pink (orange?) scales pop so much when next to the mahina!

Not sure I follow but...the original fin will be visible. The v of scales in the middle with go around the merfin and is held together with a button or two. So what you see in the pic is how I plan the end product to be
