Moving..

i know i should ask this in a pod, but the great lakes pod is kinda... dead.. xD i head up there today and come back the 23rd, then have one day to pack and then i move up there. i'll be around there and north carolina, i MAY come back to florida every now and then, but its about 17-18 hours up there. Where and what can i swim at in Detroit, Michigan? Lake michigan sounds fun, but im not a mermaid for the beach.. i always get afraid i'll rip my tail and i cant swim that far out anyway. Ik north carolina has the GAC so i can try to go there every now and then.. so, mers, my question is:

If you live in or have gone to Michigan, Where can i swim as a mermaid?
