I love the look of the Mahina Monofin.
Does anyone make fabric mermaid tail skins that cover Mahina Monofins?

Mermaid Inc has my favorite tail so far. The Seasiren Galatea, $414 USD. I'm plus sized so I would have to get a custom tail made. Does anyone in the US know how much shipping and custom taxes would be?

Magictail has the Deep Blue Pro Set Large tail that might fit. Most likely the one I will get for my first tail.

Hi Misty,

I'm a US rep for Magictails. The large fits US size 14-18. Shipping to the US is about $22 and takes only 3-5 business days. I'm currently offering 10% off on Magictails purchase through me, DM me if you're interested!

It fits a Mahina but is a little tighter since the Mahina is thicker than the Pro monofin (the scalloped edges of the Mahina stick out just a little bit). You can buy tailskins separate but I highly recommend having both monofins bc they each have different strengths. I use my Mahina in the water for it's flowy grace and power. For dry gigs, photoshoots and airline travel I use the Magictail monofin because it's so lightweight and easy to maneuver with more control (so I don't whap people w my fins if when my mertender is carrying me through a crowded party). Being lightweight also makes it ideal for travel can fit in a large suitcase, just bend the corners in and when to take it out they pop right back into shape no problem. I've taken mine on many international fights w no problems.

The deep blue is a great color, dark so you don't have to worry about sheerness that can be a problem with the lighter Magictail colors. Has some black and nice hints of purple in it too. Magictails also makes fully customized designs for about $75 more!
