Hello Lovelies!!
First- sorry for disappearing for so long- I have been trying to stay afloat in school! Second- I cannot swim for at least a month! It's not for some super crazy reason- I just finally went out and got a cartilage piercing!!! I've wanted an ear hoop since I was way too young to decide I wanted an ear hoop- and I decided to stop putting it off and finally do it. -Unfortunately I can't swim till it's mostly healed up- and well... that won't be for a while longer... At first I thought "Oh no problem, I'll be going home for the summer. There's not very many pools close by, and I'll be working a ton anyway." For now though, I'm still away at school, so I've had to turn down pool trips so many times and it's killing me....
I'm still very excited I finally got my cartilage done- but at the same time I'm going crazy because I just want to go for a swim (and on top of that now the weather decided to finally be nice and the temp will be high next week!)
Anyone have any advice about how to kill time/get by until I can get back in the water? Has anyone ever had to go through something similar?
(** Please note- I say possibly more than a month, and "Until it's mostly healed up"- My local shop and I had a long conversation about this before I could sign the paperwork! If you are considering getting a piercing of any kind- the healing time for everything and each individual person is different! Please talk to a trusted specialist (which I am not.)
Anyway have a wonderful weekend all!
