What are peoples views on using scuba knit fabric for a first tail?
Is it easy to work with, what do I need to be careful with, are there better fabrics?
Many Thanks
:thumbs up:

I don't know that it's very sturdy. They call it scuba knit but I'm pretty sure it's not really a water fabric. You can always do swatch tests for durability!

Scuba knit is a water fabric, I made my tail out of that stuff but I am gluing on scales so I am adding sturdiness to it..since there is a load of glue and plastic on top it takes away from the overstretch which is what people tend to have issues with

I am using scuba knit for my second tail and yes, it's designed for water. (At least in Australia)
I will be adding foam scales to my knit, to add structure and texture :D
Plus, it's super easy to sew, super comfy and super warm!!
