Hi Everyone!
I haven't really been active much thanks to college and figuring out my life plans. However, I'm finally thinking about doing something that I've been wanting to do for a long time: Buying my first silicone tail. I've been swimming in a fabric tail with a monofin inside for three years now and I've been saving up the money to get a mid-range tail. I know that the MerTailor has his new Spellbound line of mid-range priced silicone tails and I also know that the MerTailor is a controversial choice due to the varied reviews and experiences that everyone has with him. So now I'm wondering is it worth it and if anyone's bought from that line are they any good?? Also, If anyone has any recommendations on other mid-ranged tails that I should look at or consider. Thank you all very much!
Keep swimming!

I haven't gotten anything from him yet, but I've read some good reviews about him lately and everyone seems to love his new allure tails. As for the controversy, the lovely Raina made a video addressing exactly that. She tells her story and what happened between them. It's a good watch!

My Mersister and I ordered from the spellbound line a little over a month ago! We are VERY excited, and have spoken to about 5 people who have already received theirs and head only wonderful things! So far it has been an extremely pleasant experience, (Mertailor has AMAZING customer service and response time) but we both plan to do full reviews when they arrive!

They're about 6-8 pounds heavier then the basics, that have been discontinued.
GREAT propulsion, minimum drag especially in comparison to a full silicone.
A couple of sizing issues, but 4/5 said it fit like a GLOVE. One person, male, said the foot pocket were a tad tight but nothing to fret over.
One girl posted a review on youtube yesterday! Check it out ^.^

Hope that helps! I think mertailor is crazy realistic for the price range!
