Questions about fabric tails. Has anyone every tired regular fins under their tail? I have a pair of force fins I found for $5 and tried them out yesterday I love them! Talk about speed I didn't even have use my arms to move. So debating on just my tail cover. I like to hear y'all thoughts though?

There's a few mers here that have used fins. Most have used zip ties to bind them together into a makeshift monofin. I'm not sure how well it would work with the fins being separate.

yes, you can use regular fins in your tail, they will work just fine and in some cases even be better than a monofin.
It all depends on what your tail is made like, though.
You will lose some propulsion if you have a big, flowy fluke, for example.
I made a whole thread comparing bifins and monofins a while back.
You should be able to find it in this section if you are interested in timed results.
