Hi guys, I've made a Discord server because I've found the way you layout a group chat is a lot more organised and makes it a lot easier to get to know people so I've set up a Mermaid Discord server for mermaids to meet each other, share photos arts and any helpful links that you think could benefit others.

I have to say I love having the two Discord for the community. It is a bit easier than using the chat box on the front page, at least for me. And you really get a chance to know people.

Just as a heads up though we are a leave-your-dirt-outside group and Discord has a strict 13+ age policy. Folks found to be under that age will unfortunately have to be escorted off the server.

Just as a small update for our server -

I've received alert that there is a rash of bots going around and forcing themselves into any server via open invite links, and redirecting people to another server. For the time being I have disabled invites to our server, and bumped out security level to a 10-minute wait time to deter any bots that find their way in. Once that wait time is over we'll be able to get you set up with the group.

For the time being we'll keep this way until the Discord Team sends out the all-clear in fixing the linking issues caused by these bots. If you'd like to join us send me a ping on here via message and I'll shoot you a quick invite link!
