In addition to my mer-FB, I'm seriously considering starting a mer-blog, but the thing is, I'm not quite sure what I wanna call it, or if I should post on it "in character" as "Mermaid Princess Kae-Leah" and give a mer-princess's opinions on the issues of the day, or if I should just be my plain ol' real self. There are so many other environmental blogs out there already, and it seems more and more mers are starting blogs that I really want mine to be unique and not just a "poor man's" version of somebody else's blog. What I *do* know is that the focus of the blog will be environmental and animal welfare issues related to the ocean and it's creatures, so there will be lots of posts about not eating seafood, the ethical concerns about keeping marine mammals in captivity, ocean pollution, recycling, reducing consumption of single-use plastics, etc., with probably a pretty strong emphasis on the environmental/ethical issues involved with seafood/overfishing, essentially a lot of the same topics I cover on my mer-page, discussed in more depth(I will probably re-post some of my "reasons" series of notes on the blog), although I'll probably keep much of the autism and asexuality stuff to my mer-page. I probably will not, for the most part, be as prolific of a blogger as I will be a Facebooker, and I've been neglecting my fiction writing for a while too, so I'll try not to make it TOO time-consuming.
