I saw a few threads ago that an image of a shipwreck was going to be put on our shield. I think that's a very good idea, as it showed our pod's history. Many members of our pod have also agreed that our mascot is the cownose ray, which is native to the Chesapeake Bay. Those would be the two animals on the side. Other well known Chesapeake animals that could be represented inside of the shield along with the shipwreck could be the blue crab and sea nettle jellyfish. I think that our colors should be darker colors, such as navy blue and olive green. What do you Chesapeake merfolk think? I'm so excited to get a symbol for our pod!
