Hello, I'm Alvara. I'm new to this but excited! I don't even have a monofin yet but that's because I'm doing lots of heavy research. Also I want to build up my endurance a bit too... I'm hoping to find fellow merpeople to swim with and hang out and chat with!

I swim daily with my tail on in the pools here in Lakeland. There are plenty of spots to swim at and I try to do at least one spring gathering a month for people swim with tails :)

That sounds awesome! I would love to be apart of that! Though I must warn you I probably won't have a full tail for a while Though I have decided on a monofin!

I got 3 tails so I don't mind if you use one of the fabric one. It gives me another mer to swim with. Just remember I'm one of the few silver fin mers. I'm 36 and Rebela also lives in this town and she in her young 20's. Both pool here are open for swimming and you are welcome to join. I got a finfun tail, a green scale tail with a magic tail monofin and a finis foil monofin you can try. I also got a mergathering going on next Tuesday at 11am at Alexander Spring. Some out of area mers and one from Orlando is also joining on that trip.

I would love to join I don't have class that day so I free. I've never swam with a tail before so I'm a complete newbie to this. I'm just giving you a fair warning. But if you still want to come with that in mind I would love to be there.

If you want to meet us there, you can try one of my tails. I can't take picture and wear a tail at the same time. I can use one of the tail half the time so I can get some pictures of myself. 11am on Tuesday the 18th.

Great I'll be there. Is it alright if I bring a friend? He's not a merman but he wanted to come along to check out the spring.

I was looking at that one but I think I'm leaning more towards the Luna monofin. The Mahina looks really great though it's in my top options.

Just so you know it's $6 per person to enter Alexander Spring. I'm Jason also known as Slim. I'm easy to find being 6'3" and only 120 lbs. There is rarely anyone as thin slim as I am. Plus I'm sure I'll be the only guy there with a mer tails anyone. Can't wait to see your and your group. I'll be there about 11am on Tuesday. If I'm delay, I still usually make it there by 11:30am. I can alway pm my cell if you need it.
