Heyya!!!
So I'm a new mer, well kinda new, I've been lurking and checking all you cool people out for almost two years now, but this is my first post!!

I've been silent because I felt like I didn't have much to say since I didn't have a tail, BUT NOT ANY MORE!!! My lovely unicorn pink tail is on her way and I could not be more thrilled!

I have loved mermaids like since forever, but only introduced to actual mermaiding rather recently by my friend Mermaid Morgann. She has a BEAUTIFUL tail and the second I saw that tail three years ago, I knew I wanted to do that!!!

So hopefully my first event as a mer will be at a ren faire here next month :) STOOOOKED :) I also have a fairy persona and I have done that for a year or so but I'm beyond thrilled to debut my tail!!

I am thinking I need a new name though, my original concept for Leviatha was a darker mermaid and now since I have a sparkly pink tail, I feel like it no longer fits... any suggestions? Tips or tricks to mermaiding? What's your favorite color? What's your favorite cereal? Oh wait.... this is an introduction for me.. sorry I get really side tracked :)

My name is Nyssa and I'm from Utah! I like all Barbie movies and Anne rice novels. My favorite tv shows are, Addams family, once upon a time, and Kimmy Schmidt! I'm a Broadway FANATIC!! Not only that, it's gonna be my career. I love to act and sing. I'm currently in a hilarious parody show about the three amigos. I'm fluent in Spanish and I'm learning to speak Dovah ( dragon language from skyrim) I'm a huge nerd!! I love video games and Star Trek! I'm a semi professional seamstress and make a lot of my own cosplays. I love seafood and pizza, just not together. I like long walks on the beach, pina coladas, And I'm a libra. Lol


So yeah!! That's me! I thought I should step out of the shadows now since I have a tail and all :) hope to talk with all of you soon!!

The unicorn pink tail sounds awesome :) Though I was aware of the community for awhile, it was actually a local mer on here Rebela that gave me the final push I need to do this. It's the best thing I done in my life. We all are excited to hear about your first event next month. For tips and tricks, Mermaid Echo has an excellent guide on her youtube channel. How is it there in Utah? I'm a land-locked Mer in New Mexico... the lakes I have in the vicinity are definitely not for swimming in!! It's a drive to get out where you can! But the swimming pool nearby doesn't mind us Mer's getting together to shake our fins [emoji847]!

Oh man if I had my way it would all be purple!! It's my favorite color too :)

I know right? Skyrim is great!!! So I have the game guide book, and there is a list of dragon words in there. Then I just look to the internet for proper conjunction and grammar:) because they actually had to create this language from the ground up so there are rules and stuff, so yeah!! It's really fun!!

It's dry here is Utah, but surprisingly some really cool places to swim. My pod is the greatest group of people I have ever met and I'm super lucky to finally be a mermaid with them. Untill now I have only been a fairy with them, which is so much fun!! But now my tail arrives and I can be both!!! Whoooooo!!
