Hey guys
Cant believe I actually found an online mer community but I guess if you have thought it somebody has already done it hahha.
Ok a little about myself
I'm a 20yr old author who has written a mermaid novel called Undertow http://undertowthenovel.tumblr.com/ that I am trying to get published (so far no bites)
The idea for the novel came to me a few years ago but I scrapped it initially because it didnt work. But then a couple of years ago I went to Fiji and it all just came together. I grew up in Tonga and I think this may have given me some inspiration as well.
Anyways please read and tell me what you think

Wow- you grew up in Tonga? I've heard it's beautiful there! Even Hannah Fraser herself said that would be the place she would recommend to go.

Yeah it is beautiful. Its the only place in the world where you are legally allowed to swim with humpback whales. When I went whale watching in Hervey Bay the tour guide just about threw me off the boat when I said I lived there for eight years and never did hahahha

That is so cool about the humpback whales. I should definitely remember that. Also, I loved SE Queensland/Brisbane. I went to Roma and Canarvan Gorge, and a ton of other places around the area and everyone was just really nice.

yeah I have friends in Roma and I keep meaning to go to Canarvan gorge but keep forgetting hahaha

I used to live in Rochedale (20min from Brisbane) :D I used to go swimming at Redland Bay, where the sand is red!
